Bobbe, I stopped at your shop late Friday morning to get some picks and to get this CD, but I was told that you had taken them all to Lexington. Not a copy to be had. I need to go back to Nashville next Friday for a stress test and will stop by if I am up to it. Save me a copy please. We met Smiley and heard a few his tales while we were there. Couldn't go home without a CD so I got a copy of "At The Feet of God". Great stuff ! !

Great stuff Boobe, top notch players with you also.I have only one suggestion. You could have done a medly of the Chimes song and the crazy song and just called it crimes. Please keep putting up the free tunes as some us are to cheap to buy your CDs.Would love to hear Jessica by the Allman B. with the lead line played on a Sho Bud and the harmony on an Emmons pushpull.Probly to much trouble. Thanks lakeshrk
Q: How many chick singers does it take to sing Crazy?
A: All of them, apparently.
Seriously, that's a very nice rendition, Bobbe. It's no wonder you're such a babe magnet.

Thank you for the nice words from all of you. I know "Crazy" is probably one of the most hated songs to have to play with a band, and it seems like you have to play it everytime a female singer hits the stage, and most of them aren't as qualified as "Anne Marie" is. So, I just thought I'd show another way to approach the song. I really have grown bored of the "original" Patsy Cline arrangment.
Musically, "Crazy" is a great tune to play and add your own feeings to, just make your band give you the leaway to do so. Tell the piano player to lay out on the intro and do a great one yourself. It may be a relief to everyone, including the keyboard player. He's probably tired of playing it anyway.
just a thought,
bobbe
