Jim is his first name. His stage name was Earl spelled Url. Last I heard he was working in Branson. A very unique player.

Jack, I'm not sure what happend with him. He was just sudddenly gone. Matt (the bandleader) wouldn't go into details. He said he had nothing to do with it.
I overheard others talking saying he was "too country" that he was not. I have his phone number somewhere. I will try to call him and see what he is doing now.

I filled in for him on a weekend's worth of gigs with Johnny Lee, before Boo Miller took the job. This was about a month ago.

I played rugby with Nick, their fiddle player, back at A&M, and got a chance to chat for a while at a club after a gig they played here in LBK. Nick sortof cringes everytime somebody brings it up, and all I know is they're "Just not playing with him anymore." I don't know if it was a personal difference or musical.

Edit: I didn't get the chance to see them play, so I don't know if they have a steeler or not right now. They had finished their gig early and came over to the club where I was watching Aaron Watson was playing with ol' Haystack Novak on the SD-10 Emmons.
