Steel in Portland OR tonight: Amp needed.

Bob Hoffner called me.
He is playing with his band "Hem" at The Fez Ballroom here in Portland, Oregon tonight.
He said that due to a mix up, they didn't have an amp for him.
He asked me if I could get him an amp, but I am tied up untill about 9pm tonight.
They are supposed to load in at 4pm today.
I will call him around midday today and see what's up.
He said it would be no problem to rent one, if he couldn't find one to borrow.
Anyway... I'll be getting down to the Fez aroun 9-9:30.

I called him about 6 after work and he'd already rented one.

Pete and I enjoyed the show, and got in free on the guest list.

Was a great show. No thrashing loud drums, tasty steel playing, and a real nice redhead singing.

Bob's a great guy, player, and that's a REAL nice laurel Franklin.

Did I mention the redhead female singer?
