Darrell McCall

Post by Mark Kelchen »

I am looking for Darrell McCall CDs. Can anyone tell me where to get them? After searching the net, I haven't had much luck. Particularly looking for Darrell doing "Sally Brason" written by Dickey Overby.

Hi Mark, Hows things in Iowa? I grew up just east of you at Calamus, right on the Wapsipinicon. Anyways, Bill's Records, Dallas, Texas can get what ever you want. Last time I was in, he said he could order a McCall box set---has all his stuff. (972)-234-1496. billsrecords@earthlink.net Bill is a HUGE source of old collectable records and he really pushes the Americana music.

I recall being absolutely blown away by a Darrell McCall song back in the 60's or early 70's. It never went anywhere to my knowledge but I can still feel the goose bumps when I recall the title and perhaps a sub-title:

I'd Love To Live With You Again
But Then I Couldn't Live With Me...

If that ain't country I'll.... ahh never mind !!

Darrell and Mona said to tell everybody that his CD's are available at Ernest Tubb Record Shop.

I think Dickey Overby and Rick Price are on the new CD. Image
