I purchased an item from Jerry July 16 04.He verified via E-mail he received the Money Order. He said he would ship the item in a few days. This was July 21.I've sent countless E-mails.They never bounce. They just go unanswered.
I hope no harms come to him. But I would like to get the purchased item or my money back.Jerry lives or did live in Okeechobe FL.
If anyone knows Jerry's current situation please drop me a line or post here. Thanks in advance......bb

Bobby Boggs, I know Jerry Tillman through many phone calls and many orders from him. (but none lateley) He was called "Lake Shark" on the old forum. I have found him to be a very nice and honest guy.
With the weather problems in Florida, I can see where he may possibly be in a state of dispair, or worse. He lives right on the big lake of Ocheekobie. It got hit! Twice.
I feel you'll hear from him in the future.

Same story here, on a Music Man amp.
I got the "money order lost in the mail" story, too.
At one point, he wanted my checking account number so he could have his wife deposit the funds directly into my account.
I thought it was over at that point.
At my persistant insistance, he finally sent a Postal Money Order by certified mail with tracking number.

I understand about the hurricanes.I have inlaws that live near Naples and Port Charlotte. These folks have had a really bad time. However Jerry verified via e-mail he received payment July 19. Two weeks before the first hurricane. After I started this thread Jerry contacted me and said he would get it out to me in a few days. That was over 2 weeks ago.I've had 6 or 8 people E-mail me explaining how they had trouble with Jerry.

It's about a 900 mile drive one way for me.Not worth the $42.50 he owes me.I payed him with a US Postal Money Order.I plan to turn it over to the Postal service tomorrow.I don't know if they'll do anything or not.But I have to try.Wish me luck....bb

I just talked to Jerry on the phone. His home was hit hard by the hurricane, and he's having a hard time finding anything in the mess right now.

I'm sure that this issue can be easily resolved. Bobby, I'll refund your $42.50 if you want, and settle up with Jerry myself.

Jerry's been a long time member of this Forum and is a trustworthy guy. Some of these replies are bordering on libel in their insinuations, in my opinion. Can we leave the "Get a rope" mentality at the door, and just resolve the issue at hand?

I can go with b0b on this one.I know Jerry from the old forum also.I spent several hours on the phone with him and he always was nice to me.At that time he lived at lake okkechobee i believe. If my memory serves me correct i still owe him a tape with some dutch steel guitar music.

If you read this Jerry shoot me a mail if you have the chance.
