Does anyone know if Joe Wright will be doing any television appearances soon? I think Joe is an incredible player. He smokes blues, rock, and country on his universal and can hold his own on jazz. He also invented his own right hand style. I think its time that Joe is introduced to the rest of the music world out there on T.V. He could be a real international influence to introduce new players to the wonderful world of pedal steel guitar.

In another thread someone recently suggested that maybe Joe was moving to Nashville - dunno if that's just a rumour or what. Great player, great teacher, great guy.

There certainly is a void with the passing of Jeff Newman for someone to take front and center stage in the area of teaching the steel guitar. Joe Wright would be great for that job!

I spoke with Joe at the Super Jam last night and he said yes, he is moving to Nashville.

I don't think I could ever tire of watching and listening to this cat play, he is really something.

I am one of Joe's biggest fans. He is amazing with his playing and his show too. He makes me laugh right along with his wonderful music! I pray Joe will do well with his new venture. He told us at St. Louis that he was moving to Nashville. One more thing I would like to say about Joe. He is ONE GREAT GUY with personality plus. We hope to see and hear him play again soon. Laurie
