That would be Denny Hemmingson, another great Minnesota Steeler! [This message was edited by Al Udeen on 23 July 2004 at 08:09 AM.] |

Yes, Denny is Tim's steel man. I am out on the tour playing with Big & Rich and have enjoyed getting to visit with Denny. He is a great guy and of course a super steel player and guitar player too!
BTW- His guitar appears to be silver but is really black mica. They have a silver piece placed across the front of the guitar which matches Tim's stage set.

Cool!
Great job. That band is really good. Very innovative.
Is your black Emmons new? Looked real shiny up there. Great playing, too

Bob,
It's an old '73 D-10. I'd like to get a new SD10 one of these days!

Denny has been with Tim and the Dancehall Doctors for awhile now. In addition to his Emmons, Denny also plays a Melobar lap steel onstage. He also plays slide guitar too. Brett, Emmons S-10, Morrell lapsteel |

Scott,
Boy, you have some memory! I played at Lee Mace's Ozark Opry back in 1977. That was a LONG time ago!!! I played mostly fiddle then but a little steel too. I had an old Sho Bud LDG back then. Wish I still had that one!
