can anyone please tell me who the steel player on hank IIIs song I Don't Know, i have my suspicions but i want to confirm them -thanks- col

Dan is on that album, but I think that cut is Katon Roberts.Some of the songs have both and Paul Franklin plays on one or two cuts.
Dan did those sesions for HANK III and thought they came out real nice, then one day he heard Shelton on a radio interview saying how he hated how that album turned out with all the studio guys on it.

I just listened to it and it sounds like Kayton and his old Fender.

Kayton also plays on the Wagoneers album "Stout and high".
