Another Audio Clip
"Village Swing" was written and recorded by me as a tribute to the place I have played for 11 years, Country Village Opry. Very simple and easy to play. It takes a little download time so be patient. http://www.countryvillage.com/villageswing.mp3
Another great work...

Thank you patient guys for taking time to listen and comment!
Mike, I recorded everything at home with a Roland VS 880. The steel is my 1979 Emmons plugged directly in...no amp. The horns on the intro are done on a Yamaha Keyboard, as are the drums and piano sounds. I played the bass guitar with a Fender Precision.
Thanks again!
[This message was edited by Reggie Duncan on 15 May 2004 at 09:28 AM.]

Reggie, Love that harmony and the way you swing it in and out. Great arrangement, never booring after listning about 25, times , hoping to fix the melody and timing in my head..You leave a lot of room to improvise and embellish upon the entire piece. I love it, not too fancy with a lot of garbage ...... thanks pard. Jennings Ward..........Steelin cause I can......

Thanks! I have had the little arrangement in my head for several years. I don't play C6th, but I wanted to do something in the swing mode, not too fancy, easy for someone to catch on to. I have had quite a few accuse me of copying something they have heard, but they can't tell me what the name of it is. If I have, it isn't intentional.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
