This is certainly not original but have some of the pros thought about having the tablature to accompany the rhythym tracks of some of these fantastic recordings? I can sort of improvise, and I'm not making excuses being an "ear" player, but I don't think I have the time in this life to figure out how some are actually done like the artist originally did it. There are many ways to do things on the psg to get a similar sound; for example I don't think that I would have ever figured out how Lloyd Green did "Remember When" (just an example). I also know that I'll never have the "touch and feel" of the instrument like for example, Jay Dee Manness or Buck Reid, etc., but once in awhile I hit a good "lick" and a chill runs through.......

Charles; Buddy Emmons, Herby Wallace, Jeff Newman and others have done exactly that. There are courses galore with full instrument tracks, rhythym tracks and the tab. Fortunately, bob's "one stop steel shopping" on this site has much of the material. Click the "instruction" link above & choose your courses. steve

Ditto, it's not the intros and solos, I wanna play fill & backup that makes people cry
(of course I can do that now but not for the same reason...)

I have gladly purchased tab authored by the above mentioned and others but there are some new awesome instrumentals. One source is Scottys where I found the tab for the "Seymour & Day" album; great ideas.
