Based on This Thread maybe Bobbe needs a follow-up album titled "<U>Banned in Dallas</U>". Image

What a swell idea. Maybe we can convince everyone to buy that one, especially if we cut it as a single on the A side and maybe persuade Mr. Bradshaw to lay down "Don't Let the Deal Go Down" on the B side. Image Image

IMO Bobbe Seymour is one of the superb steel guitar players of the century. In every email and conversation I've had with him, and there have been more than one, he says what he means and means what he says. I'm certain he'll confirm these facts.

Now if some of you guys will hold on a minute, I'll go get one of those Walmart plastic bags and some of you can start pulling those black feathers out of your mouths. Image

Blast away, the asbestos chastity belt is firmly in place. Image

For the record, the CD will now be available at the Dallas show. The TSGA claims there was a misunderstanding.<FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by Joey Ace on 02 March 2004 at 05:05 PM.]</p></FONT>

Ordered my copy today through the Forum. Just wanted to give my support to Bobbe, He treated me, and my wife, and kids super nice last summer when we was on vacation. we dropped in on him early one morning and he took the time to give us the grand tour and even sat down and played a little for us,even let us take some pictures. truly an ambassador of the steel guitar

Well, since it's now been approved by the TSGA I will have some Cd's for sale in Dallas also. Heck,I even got and e-mail from *** giving me the OK and I've got the e-mail to prove it.

This is an awful thing to split the steel guitar community.

I want this to be known. Yes, I do consider Bobbe a friend of mine. No, I'm not against the other party. I AM VERY MUCH FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH. We were given this right years ago and I don't think we should give it up for any reason or at any cost. I WANT MY FREEDOM OF SPEECH. The day we can't give our opinions of products or persons or companies, that's the day I'll look for a new country to move to.

Done

The Steel Guitar Album Of The Year would be Tom Bradshaw and Bobbe Seymour trading tunes on the same CD! "Banned In Dallas". Great Idea!

*** would be the perfect guitar on which to cut this record. Of course, due promotional consideration would be given to ***.

I'll buy two if b0b accompanies them on five string ***.

Hey guys and gals

I can't give you the e-mail address of ***. I blocked it in my box. Got tired of all the compliments and blessings I was getting from ***.

Hang in there gang.

Yep, THE LAWYERS STILL GET PAID so lets sell the hell out of Bobbe's Cd's to help pay his lawyer.

Does anyone know whether Bobbe will be playing any of the tunes from his legal defense cd when he is at the Dallas show? I enjoyed the cd so much I wish O could see him perform some of them live.

Bobbe...on my way to Dallas I will pass within a stones throw of Gene Autrey, Oklahoma.....is there any momento or nostalgic memory of your days there that you would like for me to bring to Dallas next week?

Howard, I know what you mean!
Eric, great.
Gene, look and see if that '50 Olds convertable I wrecked is still in the field on the left as you go by. It was a fast car but wouldn't go around corners on a dirt road.
