I was recently looking at this site http://www.coolcitiesusa.com/dfw/dfw2/sdfwindex.shtmland noticed that Robert Randolph is no longer playing his custom Sierra. Does anyone know who is making his guitar(s) now?
Thanks,
Brinton

I recently saw an ad in the "Music Trades" magazine which pictured Robert playing a Fessy. It was an ad for the Crate Blue VooDoo amplifier. I haven't seen Robert on TV or live, so I don't know if the Fessy was his work axe, or just something they came up with for the Crate ad picture...

Fessenden, last I heard. He played it on the grammy's but there's no Fessy logo on the front of the guitar. I don't know whether he just wanted to have a guitar from a company that was still up and running, or whether he liked the fessy better, or whether it was about not getting freebies or whatever goes into these decisions.
