OK, anyone know who is playing on the swing tracks in the movie? Really good promotion for steel and good music.

Since Don Walser and the Pure Texas Band were featured so much in the movie, I thought it could be Scott Walls.
Well the next guesser please step forward?

Well, word has it that it was filmed here in the Austin area...If it's swing-sounding non-pedal kinda stuff, I'd bet it was Cindy Cashdollar..?

(but I haven't seen it...David, if you're right about Don Walser being featured, yep - it's probably Scott Walls)

I have an album by the Pine Valley Cosmonauts called "PVC Salute The Majesty Of Bob Wills". Steel player is a guy named Mark Durante...

Kind Regards, Walter

I just rented "Second Hand Lions" and it is probably one of the best movies I have scene in a long time. Finally a movie that doesn't use the F WORD every other sentence.
This is a must see movie for all ages, my GrandDaughter and I really liked it, and she is 10.

Red, you just don't look old enough to have a grand daughter.
Lucky you!

I was a little skeptical when my wife brought in a movie called Secondhand Lions and almost didn't watch it with the rest of my family. I'm glad that I did. It's one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Like stated in a previous post, it's one that you don't have to wait till the kids go to bed to watch. Oh yeah, the steel playing alone is worth the rental fee!
