Oh, Lord, REEL HIM IN, QUICK, before he leaves Us. ANYBODY who has been "Raking in the Forum" for several years and has JUST JOINED US has GOT to have LOTS of Stored S/G Information. What about it, Gene, Ya been HOLDING OUT on us? Auh Huh, That's what I thought. Come on, now, Don't be Shy around here,It won't do any good. And, If your BAD around here, We either send you over to the "Humor Section" to contend with Miss Donna, And, Lord, You DON'T want to GO THERE. Trust US. OR, You will have to Answer to a Fellow Formite (IF you can catch him WHEN his computer is WORKING) by the name of "SMILEY", and if you DON'T know who HE IS, Well, Then, Brother......Stick Around, because before you know it, YOU will Be KNEE DEEP IN Well, Gene...WELCOME TO THE FORUM. You'll Fit right it. Oh, And If I have offended you, I am TRULY sorry, we just KNOW HOW TO HAVE FUN AROUND HERE. (MOST of the time)
I bet Gene probably knows just about as much as our Dear Friend, Mr. Carl Dixon. (That is a COMPLIMENT, Carl) Gene's been reading this forum for some time now, and I bet he's got a STACK of printed Info (Probably CARL'S information posts'TOO) about EVERYTHING ya need to know to Design, Build, TUNE,(Oh, Lord,we CAN'T FORGET THAT ONE) MARKET, SELL, & Knows SERIAL #'s to EVERY P/P EVER MADE, WHO played for WHOM, WHEN, and WHERE.. AND..GET THIS... PLAY a Steel TOO. Ha,Am I even CLOSE YET,Gene?(I BET I left SOMETHING out.) Watch him, Folks, he said he's ONLY been playing for 30 years Too. (Probably BOTH Professionally AND Wood Sheading I might add.) Ah...It just hit me......A STEEL GUITAR MONK,... Yea, That's what he is. YOU'VE BEEN HIDING, GENE, and I BET You can,...well,... I WAS going to say "PICK-IT-APART", But,That ones' already taken.(Sorry, Gene) My Mom always told me that it's the QUITE ONES you have to watch, you know?
I guess we will have to call on Gene to Play 1 R 2 #,s 4 us. Makes ya wonder just how many Players ARE out there in "Cyberspace" checking US out,Wither they Play or not. There are More Intrested Players/Beginners out there than one might realize, But, that's a thing too.
And Carl, I'm only having some fun with you. I ADMIRE You, and how you conduct yourself here on this forum as a Christian Fellow Steel Player. You DO have quite a bit of Knowlage about this "Nutty" Instrument. Wish I knew as much as you. You have been a GREAT INSPRATION to many of us. And, Gene, If there is anything YOU know that CARL dosen't.....Send HIM an Email, because I KNOW that Mr.Carl WILL send YOU one if you need any information that he can help YOU with. (Many of us as well ,myself included) That's what this forum is all about. We DO get silly and downright "Ornery" sometimes around here, but, You will NEVER meet a Better Bunch of Men & Women that Share such a Wonderful "Bond" as ours. TONS of TALENT, KNOWLEGE, COMEDY,and FRIENDSHIP. I'm just happy to be a part of this Great Forum. As I said before,Gene, Welcome to this GREAT Forum, and MANY Thanks bOb.
Mr. Jody C., If I keep going the way I'm going, I might catch up with some of YOUR posts. Sorry, I had NO Esc Button today.
