(b0b, if this should be in buy and sell I apologize.)
There have been a number of threads about guys waiting forever to get their steels, getting the wrong steel altogether, other guys paying for steels they never receive, steels getting damaged due to incompetent packing methods, etc.
I am posting to say what a pleasure it has been to do business with Bill Rudolph of the Williams Guitar Co. and Dan Sliter of Elite Seat. I recently ordered an S-10 3X5 from Bill, which he built and shipped to me in less than a month. It's a real beauty and was ready to go out of the box. Dan built a great looking seat with a back and a saddle car for me and shipped it to me within two weeks. These guys are both consummate professionals and gentlemen, we should be proud to have them in our steel guitar cosmos building such fine, handmade products.
If any of you are looking for a new steel or pac-a-seat, I recommend both Bill and Dan's products without reservation. I should probably mention that I paid normal retail price for both my Williams steels and Elite Seats.
Thanks for reading my post.

Dear Howard,
I know, one should never admit that sort of thing ESPECIALLY in New York, but, man, no uncle of mine can get a steel here in New York "off the back of a truck" as they say. Or wholesale. I just wanted to make it clear my testimonial was unsolicited.
I also wanted to mention that having a steel seat with a backrest is like sitting in the lap of luxury, friends. When the bandleader is lecturing me, now I can just lean back and grin at him in Arkansas-style comfort.
