Anybody know who has been touring with Possom on his current tour. I just saw him here in Albuquerque and I am curious who is playing steel? He never announced the band members except I thought I overheard the name Tom but I am not sure.

That should be Tom Killen. He's played for George quite a few years now. I remember seeing them several times a summer back in the mid 80's when George had his place in Colmesneil, TX called Jones Country.

Tom's played my favorite steel intro a few thousand times now. The intro to to "Once You've Had The Best" is still my favorite although there are a few others that are a very close second.

I don't know which one I should choose - there are so many great steel parts on GJ records, probably the back-up playing on "He Stopped Loving Her Today". This one is among my all-time favorites.

Kind Regards, Walter
