Hawaii Music Awards "People's Choice"....
2003 nominees to be honored April 4th, 2004.
www.jerrybyrdfanclub.com on Ray's page, is playing a cut from a truly fine, CD by Manny K. This is a traditional Hawaiian CD, by a Hawaiian living here in the states....
Please excuse me for blowing my own horn, however, I am the steel player on this CD...

Island Contemporary.
You can vote as many times as you might choose as long as each has a different email address; that's their rules.
I'd just like to see a great album make it in these awards.....particularly since the artist is here on the mainland. Manny, in his 70's, is truly deserving of this kind of recognition. With your help this could become a reality.
I'd personally, be forever grateful to any and all that might be willing to cast a vote in favor of Manny's CD. |

THANKS Jeff and David. Much appreciated.
To the other 4,000+ forumites, just forget my request.......seems we all want to promote steel guitar and get support for own backyard project but when it comes to lending a hand to someone else's project on a truly international level, most of us will merely sit on our hands. That's life these days.

Ray, I loved your steel work on this cut. Real tasty and effective. If the whole album has more of this kind of steel, please tell me where I can buy a copy.
