What makes you want to read a Post?

I know that it makes a difference who the post is from and that is the first thing I glance at.
The topic is probably next.
The number of replies sometimes does. I don’t want to be left out about a hot topic.
I wonder what makes you click?

A question mark does it for me.

Funny stuff and stuff that I think may help me become a better player. I have learned alot here. I have also made many friends and been a small part of the team that started the "Georgia Steel Guitar Association". Thanks b0b. You rock.

The name of the writer certainly has an impact for me. If I see the name "Franklin", "Emmons" or "Bouton", you can bet I'll be a'clickin'. There are some names that have the opposite effect.

Musical terms tend to pique my interest too, chromatic, harmony, diatonic, etc.

I always read a "post" if it has a no trespassing sign on it!

So if a post had a Berma Shave sign quoteing
a famous steel player about the brand of steel you have in a humorous way then that may earn a click or two?
Anything about the C6 gets a click from me because I want to know as much as I can about it.

Usernames like Gerald, and question marks as Jerry mentions above. That, and product names of stuff I don't know much about, or stuff I have already.

I try to qualify by stating my status as a total neophyte, but if someone is asking about a problem I've had, well, any feedback is good news... and if I have a question, I am happy to hear people's experiences with it.

I'll usually read it if it's been locked. Sad, but true.

I like posts with pictures and sound files. As long as I take my meds and don't drool into my keyboard, they let me use the computer.

Usually I take a look at all of them, except the ones that are just between two or three members ("Looking For...", "Need E-Mail",...)
