Finally decided to order a copy of Lloyd & Tommy's "An Evening of E9th" which, just arrived today. It's GREAT! I shouldn't have waited so long.
Now, how about an "Evening of C6th"? And who would YOU like to hear play with Tommy? And who would Tommy like to pick with?
Can't wait for this one!!!

I've been bending Tommy's ear on that one since the E9 video came out. Would love to hear him do it together with Doug Jernigan.

Great Idea!
My list includes :

Big E, Doug Jernigan, Paul Franklin, Johnny Cox and Jim Cohen.

(edit) And the great Jeff Lampert too. I must have been asleep to forget him.

Each has their own take on C6. And I can imagine the dialog between them.

Something that would really be interesting to me would be to have Tommy and Buddy Emmons together on the c6th. Buddy's picking on the video with Hal Rugg at the Coves was wonderful. As well as Hal's of course. I'd like to see/have a video of Tommy and Buddy like that. I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I know that would be some smoking steelguitars!

Well that's flattering, Tommy! But here's an even better idea: Tommy White and Randy Beavers, an evening on whatever damn necks you guys want to play cuz if we closed our eyes we couldn't tell anyway!
