Hi all!
We've just done our very first CD and have some samples at http://www.countryneers.com/musik_sv.htm
What do you think about it?
We call our band The Countryneers and have built it around the 2002 swedish country talent search winner Annica Östlund (means Eastgrove). She's talented, and she also wrote the songs at the above page.
I get pretty good space for my steel (copedent at http://groups.msn.com/countryfolketidalarna/dcmcsfotoalbum.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=91 )
but since I'm not quite happy with the original sound, I run it thru a chorus.
Whattya think about it?
Anders

Aah, trefvligt! Mighty sweet, with that "80's" shimmering, chorused steel sound that once got me hooked on "that strange guitar on legs"! När kommer ni till Uppsala och lirar då?

Thanks a lot, both of you!
I know we don't make country music as good as an awful lot of US bands, but we really like it anyway.
Niklas: We'll be in Uppsala for a gig anytime someone asks us, but we know it takes time to become known and asked for.

Don't knock yourself out. You play as well as most country bands do here in the states. If everyone sounded the same we wouldn't have much choice in what we listened to then would we? Be your ownself. Don't try to copy a country band over here. Being different is what gets you noticed in the first place. Best of luck to you.
