First, I'd like to acknowledge Jeff's incredible solo montage and his knowledge and execution. You blow me away old buddy.
Rick -- what can I say? WOW! That's what!
I messed with that tune several years ago and beat my head against the wall for more than a week before giving up or losing interest (or sanity). All the changes and nuances were there -- what a soulful rendition. Kudos to you, my man.
b0b -- speaking of soulful, your playing has such great feeling and personality. Excellent listening.
And I'll once again acknowledge the incredible stuff Frank Rogers has been throwing our way. We are blessed to have people of Frank's caliber among us.

Super stuff Larry. Very imaginative use of the melodic and harmonic range of the U-12, seamlessly integrating E9 and C6 country, pop, and jazz stylings.

| Funny, I assumed it was C6th, but I figured there must be some fancy changes on the high strings! It really does demonstrate how the Universal tuning can seemlessly join the rich low bass notes of C6th with the high diatonic ringing of the E9th. Thanks again, Larry. |

| Larry, What else can be said, wonderful playing as always. Your innovative, intellectual approach to the universal tuning is second to none. Keep up the good work old buddy, and hope to see ya soon. BTW, for those of you that might not be aware, Larry is a member of the Michigan Steel Guitar Hall of Fame, and very deserving of that honor. That was really nice, Larry. I liked the way you stayed in the lower octave with those low voiced chords in the 7th and 8th bar. Thanks for posting that.

Yes, Herb, I've always played 12 strings. Setup is pretty vanilla for E9/B6, on a SD-12 push-pull. (more info on my website -- click the link below if you're interested)
