Buddy: I finally found that picture of a very young Phil Baugh that I promised you years ago and then couldn't find. It's from 1965 and he has a flat top. Looks like he might be 17 or 18 years old.... Send me your snail mail via my e-mail if you still want it and if not maybe Smiley might want it so send me his snail mail !!

for covering this for me !! I appreciate the effort and wasn't it you who sent a note to the stage telling Buddy: The steel guitarists in the room appreciated what he was trying to do..... Gosh what a sense of humor and timing ! and he plays steel guitar too !!WMCWA ??

Paul, Phil was almost 30 in 1965! (That's back when we all looked a lot younger. ) It was also about the time I started playing pedal steel, and the first time I'd heard him. He was a great player back then, and he only improved with age.
