Monday evening my wife was watching a Christmas movie on the Lifetime Channel. I was in and out but later on noticed Leann Rhimes in the movie. At the end of the movie she sang on a Grand Ole Opry set and there was Jr. Knight playing steel on national television. I could not see what brand of steel he was playing but then he makes anything he plays sound good. Jr. Knight was my first major influence on steel back in the 70's when he played on a weekly tv show out of Dallas. I could not wait for Saturday afternoon to roll around to see him play. Gary Hogue was also on the show as well and certainly is missed . Congratulations to Jr. Knight for making an appearance on national television even if it was only for a couple of shots.

I was watching the movie also. I hollered at Jerry and he came and watched it too. At the first of the movie it showed VERY small shots of the steel man and I thought it was Jr, then at the end they showed 2 good shots of him. It was good to see someone we knew on the movie. Congrats Jr. Donna

Yeah, Jr. looked good. But Lee Ann looked better.
