What are your tuning numbers for a Reso using a Boss TU 12 for a Open G Tunning.
I think I'm close to a 1/2 Tembered Tuning.
G's & D's (441) & B (437). Playing Blue Grass/ Country in a Accoustic Jam. What do you Dobro players use??
Thanks

Autry, that sounds very close to what I'm doing- in a noisy venue I tune just past straight up on the roots and fifths on a tuner, and flatten the thirds by ear. Generally the thirds match the fourth fret harmonic on the "root" string...

I tried it in a few ways... straight 440 was really not working, so at this moment, my ears are saying:
D(442)
B(439)
G(442.5)

i'm maybe away to far, I got that from my Pedal steel and for me... it works great! How you guys are tuning your Dobro?
