Does anybody know of the whereabouts of Felton Pruitt, one time steeler for the Lousiana Highride and Hank Sr?. My brother in law worked with him on the railroad and would like to know if he is still playing

Thanks

Felton was on a Louisiana Hayride "reunion" show at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium held this last summer. It was a treat to hear and see him perform again. The show also brought back (among others) Billy Walker and Jim Ed Brown and sisters Maxine and Bonnie. Another treat was Billy Walker's steel player, some newcomer named Weldon Myrick.

Loy, thanks for the info, I will relay this to my brother in law. A couple of weeks ago, I heard a Van Howard sing at church. He was inducted into the Louisiana Hayride Hall of Fame last summer. That man can sing. I have a friend who sang on the Hayride in the early to mid 70's. His name is Charles Strebeck, sounds a alot like Haggard and Alan Jackson mixed. This boy is country.
