Although I posted a couple of replies, I am new to this forum and 'd like to intoduce myself.
I recently retired from the software industry and it gives me time to catch up with my passion for music.
I was born and raised in France and always wanted to
live in the US.
my first life was music: I played guitar and pedal steel guitar professionally for over 20 years with french singers like Hugues Aufray and Eddy Mitchell did a lot of studio work and toured all over the world.
I had the immense privilege to produce a couple of shows and records with the Charlie Mc Coy gang (Charlie, Kenny Buttrey, Dale Sellers, David Briggs, Henry Strelecky and the immensely talented and friendly Russ Hicks).
I had to change path (the good old family reason) and was quite successful in the computer industry.
I moved to the US in 1992 and proudly became a citizen in 2000, after having taken my company public on the NASDAQ.
I collect vintage guitars, mostly custom color strats, and amps. I had kept my beautiful ShoBud Pro I from my pro days, bought a great Pro III and in the process of buying a few more.
I apologize for this lengthy intro, and look forward to attend next year Convention,
