cool stuff - listening as I write this Fri. Night ... (don't you just love broadband)

The bass and drums seem to be overshadowing the steel - not sure if it's a function of RealAudio etc. or the board mix -
Steel Radio guys! - do you monitor the web!
The tones are amazing however! Just seems the snare and bass are overshadowing the steel a tad.

I don't want to hear drums Image

I'll trust your judgement. Thanks for the
coverage.!

btw, I just bought a PEavey Nashville 112 to help one of your sponsors Image No really I did! Today after work! Image

Steel Radio Guys

Thanks for all you do!

Using Real Player. Bass and snare drum are way too high in the mix.

It is wonderful to be "there" listening live from Dallas.

Thanks
Ron

Johnny Bush! Rock on - you da man! I've played 'Whiskey River' in many a bar bro.

Steel Radio guys, - you da man! I am enjoying your interviews and coverage.

I've been to Scotty's ISGC many times- this is the first virtual attendance, quite amazing. Yes it is 2003. I love narrow-casting.

cheers - chris

Jeff Newman's mix is cool. Don't know if you're changing things real time - but it 's starting to get hip. Pull drums a RCH. Image

btw, the band is 'legendary' (bobby C., roy, Dave. Russ, JQ, et. AL) thank you!!!

cbk

we should be on jabber next year Image

I just heard John Hughey play "Angel too Close to the Ground". It gave me chills! I was thinking that it was the most wonderful thing I had ever heard - and then the announcer said he had to come back so that everyone could sit down.

I do have good taste!!

Thanks for the link Jim, and it sure is great looking at the schedule and listening to Steel Radio. Really great for us that have to stay home. Great to hear all the top steel players. Jeff Newman was one who really showed the extent of his Musicality..
Thanks Scotty....al Image

T.Brumley must be playing now.
I was able to listen and record (consumer class cassette deck)most of friday eve. Some degeneration in sound quality. Since this event is being broadcast live, I hope somehow the highlites will be captured via dat/direct cd or whatever and made available. Is it just me or do some of these guys play in ways you just never hear anywhere else? <FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by Steven Welborn on 30 August 2003 at 11:49 AM.]</p></FONT>

Tom is playing right now. Actually he just switched over to the 7 string Ric lap guitar and to me I am enjoying this more than his pedal playing!!!

The band actually had a snafu in the song "Together Again", duh!

Steel Guitar Rag is so nice when you just play it and don't try to make it into something that it isn't! Brumley is just playing it great!!!!

This is great! I'm listening to Lloyd Green as I type. Fabulous. Image

Will the convention audio feed be available for replay afterwards? There are some performances I've missed and others I'll have to miss later, and I'd like to go back and retrieve them after the convention is over if possible.

I had to cut and paste the ip address into my realaudio player before it would work for some reason.

The links look like this http://216.175.53.41:8010/listen.pls http://216.175.53.41:8008/listen.pls

I pasted this http://216.175.53.41:8010 http://216.175.53.41:8008

Worked for me!!

Mr. Emmons' "Wills' Point" was GREAT!

Also BE's Ending of all Endings made me wish it would never end!

Nothing wrong with a little reverb.

Yeah Buddy!

Catchy little ad for Carter too...

Wonder if they are using new glue for their logos...

Maybe next year..
