I recently picked up this great Album. It is chock full of great vintage tones, pedal and non-pedal. He was recommended to me from a friend who used to play with him in "Neko Case and her Boyfriends", an Alt-Country band on Bloodshot Records out of Chicago.
Is anyone else enjoying this fine album? I haven't seen his name posted in the forum... |

| I am glad to have become acquainted with Jon. He came to Nj with Grievous Angel out of AZ 4 years ago and played with us at a small festival. Ha came again last year with Niko to play Hoboken. Please get a copy of "Man in the Moon" the band is SLeepwalker. This is a great album of Steel, bass, drums, and vocals. Do not expect country. It is a courageous album of good rock music. Rauhause is a great musician. |

Cool article. Thanks for the link! I've seen Jon play quite a few times. I used to live down in Tempe and Sleepwalker would play occasionally and Jon would also sit with other projects too.
The CD is fun to listen to.
On a side note, Jamal, the singer and bass player in Sleepwalker, was the best soundman in town when he lived in Arizona. I think he moved to New York or some such place. |

My wife read the review of the Airshow album in Vintage Guitar and made me buy it. We like it! Thanks for the info on the interview and other recording.
