I'm not an expert on the Lefty sides, but a friend of mine once played me a radio cut of Lefty's rendition of "Ida Red Likes To Boogie". Curley's solo shot the whole song thru' the ceiling. More rare, early Chalker radio stuff can be heard on Hank Thompson's Country Routes album, especially "Sixty Minute Man" is memorable!
And if you meant what kind of guitar he was playing, it was a blonde Fender Dual 8 ( or Custom Triple ) teamed up with a tv-front Fender Pro and a Bigsby vol/tone pedal. [This message was edited by Jussi Huhtakangas on 05 August 2003 at 05:35 AM.]
