A Musical Offering

Post by Guest »

I couldn't wait for Father's Day to post this little tribute. I'm proud of my dad for a lot of reasons. In part for his purple heart and bronze star. In part for sacrificing so much to raise seven kids. In part for exposing me to so much good music as I was growing up.

But I'm also proud of him because as he approaches 80, he can still belt out a tune convincingly. Here is an example I recorded with him last week. I hope you enjoy it. You will need Windows Media player to hear it.

Here's it is in MP3 format I Should Care (MP3)

Thanks to you all, Larry, Doc and Fred, for your nice comments. I really appreciate it. Doing this recording (and others we're working on) is one of those things that's so easy to do, yet means so much.

Ricky, that's my Sho-Bud Professional that I recently got from Duane and Jeff. I'm loving it more each time I sit down in front of it.

Jay, thanks for listening.

Tony, if my father reads your post you might find him knocking on your door. He's quite a ham.

Jeff, anytime you want. I'm going to post the background track and the chart for anybody who is interested.
