My current favorite PSG song is Willie Nelsons' "Undo the Right" on his album; "Crazy: The Demo Sessions".
It is Willie alone on acoustic and vocals with Jimmy Day on PSG. Does anyone out there know if Jimmy is playing an E9th or C6th?
It is a beautiful part.
BTW, great playing from Jimmy Day and Mr Emmons all over this record...

I see what you mean... I just played the track for the 1st time in ages & its a hard to say. Sounds like half way between the two (what would that be - D7.5 ?) .

I love the old Willie/Jimmy stuff. My favorite tracks are I LET MY MIND WANDER, THINGS TO REMEMBER and WHY ARE YOU PICKING ON ME. Superb steelplaying. Was this done on the D9-neck on a D8-string ShoBud ? Sounds like it.
