Two sons ... 13 and 10. (A guitarist -- who plays circles around his dad -- and a trombone player, respectively.)

None.

It's a remote possibility that I have a daughter, but it's been impossible for me to find out.

To make a long story short, I "dated" an older woman ( 20) when I was 16 for a six month period. Inexplicably, she announced that she was marrying a truck driver. It was very unexpected, and It finally hit me some 20 years later just why it might have happened that way. A search of geneology records showed a daughter being born to her in 69. No other listing of idenity or possible way to contact anybody involved. I guess I'll have to wait for the "knock on the door"...

Kinda makes you wonder, don't it.

I think there's a lot less uncertainty with "Mothers Day" huh.

I was thinking of a T Shirt saying "If you were born on or before this date in 1964, I am NOT your father."

Thanks Dad. Though your body gave out in 1974, you never abandoned me. Not ever.

Since it's not remotely about steel guitar, I'm moving this to "Our Extended Family".
