It seems we are quick to post when we get a bad deal, and no one hears about a good deal.
I just had a recording project mastered by Forumite and steel player Brad Sarno, and it turned out great. Even though I worked on this off and on for about three or four years, all the levels are consistant and the clarity was enhanced, making my average singing and musicianship sound much better. It sounds good on our studio monitors, in the car, and on my computer speakers.
I would urge anyone doing a recording project to spend a few extra bucks for this service and get a much more professional sounding project. Here's Brad's email address bradsarno@earthlink.net

Jim, I'm not sure you want to hear it unless you have some old stray cats and dogs you want to run off. LOL
I guess like everyone else, my Mother is my biggest fan. She has been after me to do this project for a long time. She is 82 years old, and I decided if I was ever going to do it, I better hurry up, she may not be around that much longer.
It is all Gospel, with 5 acoustic Bluegrass style songs, 6 Country style songs, and 1 sort of a Blues style song. Some of the songs are old, some are new. I played all the instruments but drums, and did the vocals too. I don't really like my singing or playing either, but maybe someone will be blessed by it.
When I get a little time, I'll do a little .mp3 sample, thanks for asking.
