In surfing the web,I am finding gillions of parts for acoustic guitars and pedal steels but not much for lap steels.
Who sells nuts, bridges and fretboards for lap steels?
Thanks,
Malcolm

look in www.stewmac.com and www.allparts.com. Most stuff is electric guitar, but lots is usable (hardtail strat tailpieces, pickups, tuning keys, electronics, and finishing products).

Also look at www.hipshotproducts.com for cool roller nuts and their Trilogy Tailpice.

We are making a solid brass bridge for string through body, 6,7, & 8 string. We will also fabricate in aluminum to your spec. Plates, covers, pickguards. We'll be working up a stock parts list, but in the meantime send custom requests to me.

Colin, that's a nice looking guitar on your website. What's the advantage of the rollers on the nut? http://www.cruztonesteel.com/

I am using a roller and bridge to assist the Trilogy tailpiece in returning to pitch when changing tunings.

Don't forget the Rick Turner 'Farrier's' pickup mentioned in this review of my new ax. http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum2/HTML/007200.html
The tone of this little baby is fabulous. I am working to get the word out on this pickup to lapsteelers. We should have these available for sale soon and the 8 string model will be made available as well.
