Does anyone know where I can find a copy of Buddy Emmons playing with John Sebastian (of Lovin'Spoonful fame)on a song entitled:
"I'll Paint Rainbows Over Your Blues"?
It is hard to find. Thanks..

Jim Cohen was kind enough to send it to me, so it's on its way to you via email.

one of the absolute Emmons masterpieces for accompaniment and solo- if you ain't grinning ear to ear after this cut you must be dead- it was on Sebastian's first "solo" record "John B. Sebastian" released 1970 info about it here:

I have it on CD - probably a european release- I'll have to check
There's a couple LP copies on ebay one of which is here:

Sorry I don't have a web link to it. I'll be glad to email it to whomever wants it when I get home. Be forewarned though, it's a 2.3 MB MP3 file, so be sure your ISP will allow email files that big before you ask for it.

On the other hand, since I got it from Jim Cohen, maybe he can post it on his web site for download. Jimbo, are you out there?

Anyone want the tab for the intro?

right click on the image and save it to your computer. Use any image program to view and print. Dick meis worked this out, and I used to have it posted, but need to update that part of the site...

I added an MP3 of Rainbows to the Fun Stuff page. (It's listed under the "70's".)
