Give this a listen and some feedback

I'm going to try this again! Here's a 'basement' song we recorded a few weeks back. This was done much too quickly to satisfy me, but we needed a CD to start gigging. I'm my own worst critic, but let me know what you think anyway!

That's the street I live on, Gary. Great honky-tonk feel. I'd say more, but after listening to that track, I've suddenly got the urge to go grab a tall cool one. Nice stuff.

Hi Gary
Liked your sound. I think I meet your bass player a couple weeks back, Your band played at Country USA in Colorado Springs last weekend, I think? I am the steel player with the Hot Iron Band that played two week's ago at the same club. I remeber your bass player had me go out to his truck to listen to your CD that you guy's did at Dick's Meis place up in Denver, the whole CD sounded good. How did you like playing at Country USA? We have been playing up there for a couple of years now. Hope to come up and hear play a whole evening sometime.

Good song! I like it. Here's my own personal suggestions for how to improve it. Everything sounds just a little "dry", to me. (I'd like a little 'verb on the steel, and just a little echo on the voice). Also, I'd like to hear a little more "trading-off" between the steel and the lead. It's a real good first effort, though, and I'm sure it'll get you some gigs. Image
