LDG's playing on this Charley Pride record has been mentioned quite a number of times on the forum and, doggonit, I must admit to never having had the opportunity to hear it. A modest look around at a few web retailers did not come up with anything and our own Forum catalog indicates that it is out of stock. Does this disc remain in print and does anyone have an idea as to where a CD of this title can be found? |

Al
I was playing this at the weekend - marvellous stuff. I have just looked on amazon and it is there. It is called Charley Pride In Person on Koch label dated 1998.
Now, can anyone tell me exactly where Panther Hall is/was? |

Sorry to say, Panther Hall was torn down shortly before I moved here in 1980. |

Panther Hall was near the intersection of East Lancaster and Collard Streets, just east of downtown Fort Worth. |

Clive, thanks for checking on Amazon. I had done the same thing and there is one used/new copy available for purchase. However the price is $24.00 USD which is quite a bit more than I desire to spend. Other sites indicate that the disc is backordered from late last summer. I'm presuming that the disc has gone out of print or is having difficulty being distributed. |

Impact Sound in Stephenville, Texas is where I bought it. They do mail order also. The area code is 254. You'll have to call information for the number. I don't have it with me just now. |

I find the easiest way tofind all these old recordings is Collectors Choice, They do all the hunting for you. All you have to do is call the toll free number - 1-800-923-1122 , If it`s available any where in the world ,they find it for you , it will be new ,and if you dont like the price nothing lost
Good luck in your search

I bought this on CD a few years ago at a record store, but it might be a counterfeit or something because it's missing two of the tracks. Since I have the LP I'll burn myself a complete disc.
