Tommy,
On another thread discussing Bruce's videos, we were wondering about the tune you play as a 'warmup'/intro for your instructional tape. It uses the 9th string root position on E9 and the chord voicings are very rich and C6-like. The melody, harmony, and execution are really beautiful.

What is it? Would you ever consider talking us through it or tabbing it out as a future project? If it was just improv, off the top of your head, it's even more incredible.

The primary tune Tommy used on the opening was the Gospel song, "I Surrender All" and it's never been done any finer by anybody in my lifetime. Tommy played it from his heart on the P/P that I now own, thanks, Gary.

Larry-that sure is a nice voicing, using the D 9th string as a root on E9 tuning. As you know with pedals A and B down, gives a very nice Dmaj7, lots of C6 there . I liked it......al
