I still wonder why there is not one serious
chat-site with the steelguitar and dobro as
main subject. I vistit this great Forum nearly every day, so instead of writing your subject down, why not go for an answer immediately ? It could be fun. If there was one, would you participate ? When I speak for myself; I would love to talk "live" with most of you once in a while.
Hans.

Hans:

It might be fun, but I wonder if there are enough of us that could be on line at the same time to really make it interesting. As I work full time and have an hour commute each way, I could only be on for a limited time in the evenings -- say between 7:00 and 8:00. I, personally, like the idea of the forum, as I don't miss any of the great stuff that was posted while I was away from my computer.

I used to enjoy Steel Guitar Cyberchat. There seemed to be quite a few of us that used it fairly regularly.

Years ago I tried a chat room for steel guitar, but I might as well call the guy I'm chatting with. Takes too much time to type when I could be talking. Just me...

Happy Holidays,
Drew

There was quite a few of us that would go to
Mike Mease "Steel Guitar Players in Cyberspace", but I've givin up on it because I can't seem to get it to work anymore. Could it be discontinued?

A lot of good information was passed back and forth, I would like to see something started up again.
