Was listening to the Tom Perryman classic country show the other day and got to hear "Have I told you lately that I love you". Tom remarked that Tex's version of the song was cut around 46 and the steel on that song was just beautiful. Some of you older guys remember who that was? Whoever it was sure knew how to put their heart and soul in thier music. Just great stuff!

Thanks Jody! I knew some of yall would know. Fantastic picking on that one. Really incredible sound. By the way Jody, I sure enjoy all of your posts concerning the history of Steel Guitar. Keep on typing cause theres alot of knowledge in your years that we need. Let me know when that book's finished. Happy Thanksgiving!
