What model Gibson is this?

This is the first black Gibson I've seen. Can anyone offer some info on this Royaltone? Did it have Kluson tuners? Value?

Ron...its the first version of the BR-6 made between 1946-48. The body change and sunburst finished version followed. They normally sell in the $350-440 range on eBay dependent, of course, on the condition. This one has non-original tuners (but look decent) and the jack plate always seem to crack around the screws on these. Early P90 and some even had square necks. Great clear barrel deco knobs!

Tighe is right about those barrel knobs. The go for $75 to $100 each.
