Nice to see you on the forum Wayne. Just wanted to thank you many years later for spending some time showing a teenager how to "chime" on a steel. You were working with Jack Green and I too was very "Green". Not sure of the year, probably 77? At the Mpls auditorium. I think it is one of the great qualities of great steel players...taking the time to share the knowlege. I have heard similar stories re. many other pros. Thanks again Wayne for the inspiration....I have tried to carry on the tradition.

This is really weird! I woke up this morning,thinking about how so many of us never fully realize how many lives we influence. Thank you,Pat,that makes my day! I'm going to pass on the good will by starting a complimentary thread on a great guitarist, who has profoundly influenced steel players;Gregg Galbraith.
