Finally got to hear THE STEEL PICKER Mr. Buddy Emmons live Friday night. It was incredible to hear Night Life and that was a set I'll never forget. Just awesome!
Don Helms and Lloyd Green were in synch beyond belief. I've never heard a better contrast of sound from a non pedal and pedal steel played together. Those old Hank tunes and Don playing the same old Gibson steel was awesome beyond words. So much tallent there that it would take all night to thank them all. What a show!!!

Hey Rick, where were you ????I looked all over and I was for sure there.
I agree, Buddy sounded great on Night Life.
Thats my favorite Buddy recording.
