I just read the post by Smiley Roberts in Events & Announcements. The first reply is a note of encouragement from Bobby Bowman.
I was just wondering when Bobby is going to get to play this show. Texas Steel Guitarist of the year, super picker & all around nice guy. If he doesn't get to play, "We been Robbed"
Bobby, If they ever wake up and get you on the show, just don't wear that Hank Thompson disguise.
He builds em good & plays em better.

Thank you Rick. I hope so too. Everytime I've been asked, I've had something in the way. Everytime I did the asking, they had something in the way. Maybe next year.
Hope to see ya there and visit a little this year.

Boy Rick, you got dat right!! He's one of he reasons that I go to the Tx. show every year.
There ain't NOBODY that has more fun, (& fun to be with) than Bobby Bowman! He came all the way up from Tx. to Tn., to be at our last NTSGA "SuperJam". Now,THAT'S what ya call dedicated to the instrument, whether ya build 'em,or play 'em! I LOVE Bobby Bowman!
(not like THAT,silly.)

If you really want to hear Bobby "shine", come to a SETSGC meeting during the "JAM" and listen to Bobby when some one "pushes" him a little bit. It will blow you away.Jody. |
