Recently my father was in the studio in Nashville to do a gospel song on a Sims Records compilation. He kept telling me how great the studio band was. He just received some copies of the session and let me tell you Mike Douchette did a fantastic job on steel! Steel is all over my fathers cut as well as others on the project. This player is as smooth as I've heard. The licks seemed to just flow and fit the songs perfectly. Not only that but my father said the band did it the first time through! I hope someday to be as good. I've never heard Mike play in person but look forward to the day I can.
