I mail Terry last night and he mailed me back this morning,I just had to tell him how good his new book was for me to read I couldnt lay it down.
I ask why he didnt come to the St. Louis show and he informed me that Scotty had told him to bring his steel and come on down but couldnt use him on the show unless he had enough request for him to be a player on the show. Now I havent heard him but he has to be a good picker as many stars as he has worked with so I suggest that all should read his book and mail Scotty and ask when he is going to put Terry down as an ARTIST and let's hear some new pickers at the show.
I know I will email Scotty and request that he use Terry at the conv. and I would highly recomend that you get on the forum on buy and sell and get his book you will love every moment of it and find yourself not wanting to put it down until you have read it all, and really find out what goes on in Nashville from someone who put his heart and soul into playing steel and recording producing and all that goes on behind the scenes. Listen just get the book and mail Scotty lets get this guy a shot at being heard at the convention.
My Thoughts--Thanks Bill Taft

With all due respect to brother Terry, there's only a limited number of slots at the ISGC. The line of deserving players in front of him is just too long.

I agree his book is excellent and is a must read for anyone interested in the music biz as experienced by Steeler that's been there at the top levels.

You can hear samples of his playing, even a Shinia rehersal at http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/151/steel_samples-terry_wendtw.html

I hope we here much more from Terry.

Scotty email lets all mail him and request him to give Terry a spot on next years show along with the big boys, and pass this along and tell all you know to pour on the mail to Scotty for Terry he deserves to play with the best and I think Scotty is a fair enough man to listen to the request and who knows maybe we can all see Terry do his thing next year at the show.
scotty@scottysmusic.com---------dont waut and forget do it now and have all you know do do the same mail him and ask why he has never put Terry up there as an ARTIST.
