LA/Hermosa Beach July 3-July 7

I will be in Hermosa Beach (near LA) on July 3-July 7. Anyone playing, or better yet...any show I should go see?

Find out who's playing at Viva Fresh on Riverside Drive out past Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank. Not near Hermosa Beach, but probably worth the drive. (Earnest Bovine, aka Doug Livingston, seems to be out there pretty regularly.) And I believe there was a recent sighting of Jay Dee Maness there as well.

Blue Cafe in Long Beach is also a possibility depending on who's playing. (Again, Mr. Bovine has been sighted there...) Closer to Hermosa Beach.

Do a search and see if you can find an e-mail address for Gary Brandin (forumite, search for "Brandin") and find out where he might be playing. He used to play with the Blue Hawaiians and that's worth a drive...

Mark mentioned Viva Fresh restaurant in Burbank (at Riverside & Main St.) I won't be there (except on June 29) but you can see Mike Johnstone on steel with the very talented Cody Bryant there on many Wednesday and Friday nights.

And don't look for me at Blue Cafe. After 18 months of Sundays our band won't be there any more (well, maybe in September...)
