I'll probably get fired from my band. We have three gigs booked that week end. BUT, good Lord willing, I'll be there. And, if they get it ready, I hope to have the new Cowboy Jazz Band CD with me, featuring each of the players on it. Two steel instrumentals and steel all over the other 8 songs.
Looking forward to seeing all of you.

Kenny,
I hope to. We're still working on a couple of small problems. With a little luck I'll have it there. Mr Fishers' regular business (Fisher Pumps) has been real busy the last few months and we just don't have any time to devote to machining some new parts yet. But soon I hope. I may bring one anyway.

I'll be headed that way on Wed. About a 14 hr drive from here. Can't wait to see my life long friend Doyle Grisham inducted into the Texas Steel Guitar Hall of Fame. What a thrill for a fellow from Troy Texas to have such an honor. Well deserved I might add.

I am looking forward to putting an eye ball on all the folks that show up here on the forum as well. Especially you b0b.

Normally, I have gigs on the weekend of the TSGA Convention. I haven't been to it in about 4 years.

This year, not only is the convention superceded by my gigs, but my gigs have been superceded by an all-expenses paid trip for my wife and me, to the "Big-Apple" for a weekend of frivolity at a 4-star hotel and Broadway plays. I'd complain but my brother-in-law is springin' for the whole sheebang! 'Guess he's tryin' ta' git me some culture ....I'll have to wait for next year.

Keep on pickin'!
Glenn

Gonna Preview the new shorts, HUH. I knew you wouldn't make everybody wait until St Louis to see them. Someone please take a pic and email to me, I can't make it.

I need the Picture to nail up on a tree about 50 feet from the outhouse to draw the flies away.

This will be my first steel show. I'm extremely excited about seeing/hearing all of the great players that are here in the forum. Would anyone know generally what is the best day to see the most players and equipment, etc??

There will be the most music and the heaviest hitters on Saturday, plus Tom Morrell and his western swing band plays a dance to wrap it up that night. The manufacturers will have displays all weekend but many start packing up Sunday afternoon. You really should come for the whole shebang, you won't want to miss a single lick!
