Hello!
Just got an attachment of a bunch of questions. It started:
"The Team of Steeldays 2002 thanks you on forehand for helping us out.
"Doing this interview makes you a part of Steeldays 2002."
I have no idea WHO sent it, or what to do with it. THere was no return address on it at all.
If anyomne know about this let me know-- on or off list...
Winnie

My best guess is that Johan Jansen sent you the note. (See Forum CD of the Month - January "The Secret Combination" at the very top of this page). Johan hosts a really great steel jam every year overseas. Many top steelers drop in. Perhaps you might be one this year? Just a guess...
Best, -Dave

All sorted out!
It would be a delight to come by but, sorry to say, I'm not travelling much. It is a delight to live in NZ, but the down side is that it takes ages to get anywhere. Europe is about 30 hours-- either NZ to LAX and then over (not a great choice considering the security hassles at LAX) OR NZ to Singapore and then over.
Either way, it is a very long flight that I am feeling too old to comfortably do. Last time I went to USA/Europe I paid the exorbitant extra to go Business Class, and it was nice but STILL very difficult. I'm not ready to spring for the First Class where I can get completely horizontal.
So, right now, I'm going over to the steel show in Brisbane at the end of February, and that's it for going anywhere.
