"WHO" then, is the other steel player from the 1950's going by "Jack~Curley~somebody" that played steel with the Opry greats?

Jack! that could be Jack Evans! I met Jack in 58 when he was with Ray Price!

Al means Jack Evins, played a quad Stringmaster with pedals added. He was on many Ray Price recordings in- 57 -58, "Invitation To The Blues" is probably the best known.
